Eleni Mandell is playing at Davey's Uptown in KC on Saturday, March 28th and Greg is interested in going - in fact, it was his idea! Her new album, "Artificial Fire" is due out tomorrow and yes, of course I pre-ordered it. Last time I saw her was the weekend of March 7, 2003 when me and Jenni went down.
We started a joint vacation fund last fall and this small trip would barely dip into it. Tickets to the show are $10 each - I kid you not. She's worth so much more! The only thing I worry about is the drive and where to stay - my favorite Quarterage in Westport or someplace cheaper in walking distance. Sounds like something to look forward to.
