Monday, I'm all high!
With the start of the semester break, we get to park close to the building and wear jeans, at least for the next two weeks. Then unexpectedly after lunch, everyone received a memo from the college president informing of across the board salary increases to "move our ranges to the 60th percentile of the market". Effective today, my pay just went up by just over 75 cents an hour! And just when you think the day can't get any better, I found six 20% off coupons for Bed, Bath & Beyond in the recycle bin while Amy found a nearly new Swiffer WetJet and broom/dustpan set in the dumpster (probably a cast-off from a student moving out of the dorm).
Ironically, between semesters when the students aren't here is one of the busiest times for me, elsewise I should like to write about the weekend. Here's the short version ...

- Jenni's birthday dinner, while not near as awful as 2 years ago, still didn't leave me with warm fuzzy feelings
- hit the gym with Greg twice
- lunch at the Dell for the first time in ages
- Scout - it's my new favorite thrift store! Rec'd $22 in store credit for cute clothes that no longer fit and got two skirts that do: a denim and a floral print.
- watched a lot of Lost
- spent 4+ hours at the hospital w/ Lily playing board games, making bead jewelry and watching Bugs Bunny cartoons
- watched La Vie En Rose last night toute seule
