At 4:30 I called Julie to reconfirm our plans to meet at the Cork & Bottle but unfortunately she had already made alternate plans to help Bernie with some catering job and was only able to pop in for about 10 minutes. I might have left then but Bruce called and asked if it was alright if he make an appearance at his own "happy place" (how ironic is that?). Shortly thereafter, Cindy O. and Lisa showed up so it was all good except that Julie missed out.

Bruce has been telling me about this music lovin' guy named Greg for months ("you guys should go bowling together!") but I'd yet to meet him until tonight. Of course we hit it off right away addressing important issues like compilations, greatest hits collections, top five, etc. and he in fact thought I had one up on him music-wise although he's more into the equipment than I am and strongly suggests that I get an iPod in the near future which is what Amy's been saying since she's known me ("If anyone on God's green earth deserves an iPod, it's you ... "). Good lord, that was quite the run-on sentence. Anywhoo, was fun.

We're meeting up on Friday after work for a CD swap of sorts. I just don't enjoy coming straight home anymore because without the dogs there, um, why?

c&b, music, greg
