That's pretty consistent with
last year's 33/18 numbers and not bad for all that took place this year though to be fair, five of the books are considered YA, a couple consisted mostly of pictures, and several were potato-chip like fiction. I also read over half of the short story collection Children Playing Before a Statue of Hercules but never finished it so it doesn't count. Currently still working on the Nick Drake biography though it's somewhat disappointing as the author wasn't allowed to quote lyrics and deviates from the point quite a bit. I'd like to wrap it up quickly as there's a stack of books awaiting just on the other side of my pillow ...
If television shows count, I finally finished season 3 of Seinfeld, the first season of Scrubs, series IV & V of Red Dwarf and watched the first installment of From the Earth to the Moon to be finished later this month, hopefully.
Music is a whole 'nother ball of wax and will probably require its own separate entry at some point.
Later we are chartering a flight out to West Omaha where we will be joining Michelle & Greg, Boris & Lori, and who knows who for Elaine & Drew's annual New Year's Day traditional meal of pork and sauerkraut (blech). So far this year is starting out like most others.
