Sigh. Winter=win, Christmas tree=fail.
Today Herb and Marcia were received into the church; congrats for them. I wanted to be there, seeing as how I am an RCIA teacher, but there were a few reasons why that didn't happen. Namely, the blizzard.
We were also supposed to go pick up a Christmas tree for my folks' house today. Again, this did not happen.
keeperofthecats and I cruised over to my folks' side of town to pick up Bran on the way to the church to see Herb and Marcia after mass. Now, Gaelic Storm has a song called Death Ride to Durango. So here I present to you photos from the "Death Ride to Cedar Rapids."
I also took a couple silent vids with my camera (which does not have a mic, but that's ok, because in general it works better than any camera I know) of the storm both at our apartment and at the 'rents. Spiked eggnog, anyone?
