Yea! I’m in a good mood. I finally feel like I’m doing something. Up to this point, I’ve spent my time at Chico eating, sleeping, doing homework and going to class. My RA (or as we call him, MIARA, which stands for "Missing In Action Residence Assistant") is someone we see when he strolls down the hall to have a shower (incidentally, this happens six to seven times daily). He'll generally nod in our direction, but apart from that, he's a mystery. We're pretty well convinced he's gay or at least close to it (not that there's anything wrong with that; people's personal sexual preferences are nobody's business but their own) because the other times we see him, he's in the dining hall with his "boyfriend," whom we know only as "MK." We've had three floor meetings: the initial, tooth-extracting convention; one where he and "MK" taught us to iron (the signs said we were to congregate in the common room to learn to iron with SJ -- our guy -- and MK); and one last night that took 45 seconds (he told us there would be trick-or-treaters coming by tonight, which they did, and were as adorable as anything you've ever laid eyes on).

Anyhow, just offering a stark contrast. Glad you're getting yourself all twisted up in student fun. :-)
