I'd always thought he was younger than me as I remembered him joining as a student when I'd just graduated. I found out today that he'd already been working for a couple of years previously (in a bank?), but had decided on a career change and taken himself off to uni before coming to work with us. From whedonesque, Andy Hallett passed away last night - just 33, he died from heart failureI hadn't realised he was ill, but apparently he'd contracted a virus as a result of an untreated tooth abcess back in 2004, shortly after Angel ended, which resulted in him being hospitalised for congestive heart failure, and it seems his health never really recovered ( Read more... )

Much-loved artist and children's presenter Tony Hart has died, aged 83. :(

One of the guys at work was involved in a motorcycle accident on his way home last night, and sadly he didn't survive. We don't really have any more information about what happened yet - the managers told everyone first thing this morning - but everyone's feeling very shocked and numb today.
