Okay...so there's a new edition of Wuthering Heights out that bills it as "Edward and Bella's favorite book."

Is this really the best thing a classic 19th century gothic masterpiece has going for it?

Coupled with Christopher Paolini's introduction to Steinbeck's Acts of King Arthur...this makes me want to scream.

School starting soon, and so of course I'm going through my typical ambivalent response: nice to have something to occupy all my time with, but not exactly looking forward to the heavy workload. Could make things easy on myself and just stop taking classes, of course...but at least the workload will mostly consist of lit-oriented material this ( Read more... )

Well, all in all, a good weekend with the parents. Many fun sights and dinners, including a good time Sunday where I made some pretty good baked pasta. I might use a different sauce next time though, I had to add a lot to get some flavor out of it ( Read more... )
