(no subject)
I never thought I would say this, but: I need it to NOT snow. I leave on Friday for Finland, and if DC gets any more snow, my flight may get messed up, and that's the one that takes me to Copenhagen. Please, please, please no more snow. I have a suitcase that's 2/3 full sitting on my bed. The "rest" of the laundry is in the washer, though I know I'll have to do another load before I leave in order to have a clean towel and all of my jeans washed. I don't know what their new apartment is like, but the last place did not have convenient washing facilities, so I'm having to cram all of my clothes in with all of the stuff that's been requested/sent to me. I'll be able to pull it off; I have a big enough suitcase, but the coming weather is impeding progress, and I need to get the boots in so I can pack on top of them. Well, that's not going to happen, now is it? Also, I'm having difficulty tracking down my passport. I think I took it with me to Lynchburg last summer, as a precaution, but now I don't know what I did with it afterward. I have to keep looking. In the mean time, I'm trying to finish a last sock; I did finish my scarf last night, but I haven't even started a matching hat. International travel, especially in winter, is a bitch.
