Wow. Just... wow.

I just (finally) finished reading the final volume of After School Nightmare, a 10 volume manga series by Setona Mizushiro that I've been working on for, oh... the last two or three years. I started when the first volume came out (actually when a PREVIEW for the first volume was shown at the end of another manga I have), and I've been reading patiently and diligently while the entire series was released. I've loved it from the very beginning of the very first chapter, and it was definitely one of my tops for the beauty of the art, the complexity of the characters, and the sheer creepy weirdness of the story.

But now, with the final volume, I just.. I can't even describe it. Everything was revealed, and it turned out to be so... profound and amazing. I did NOT see that ending coming at all! I've been sobbing over it for the last hour. It's been awhile since I read something that hit me so deeply and moved me that much. I wish I could share it with everybody I know, but it's so hard to get the people I know to read anything I recommend (Paul, you're the best at it, but I don't know if this would QUITE be for you?), so I'll have to just settle with posting this.

Japan, you need to make this into a movie ASAP, because it would be PHENOMENAL. Just don't let Hollywood get their hands on it.
