So, the summer is almost at an end (not that the weather knows, it is quite summery here) but plans for the new season have to be made.
For the last years I attended a study support group once a week at university but I've come to the conclusion that it now takes more energy than it gives. So I have announced that I will quit. This does not mean I have given up on my thesis, I intend to keep on working on it.
Because this will mean I loose my only regularly appointment in the week and I do think it is important to do things without my boyfriend and that it is important to do new things once in a while I've decided to go on a course. It should be something that gives no homework whatsoever (so no languages, writing, reading clubs, computerprogramming, film making, theatre review writing (though that course looks good, it is only 5 evenings)) and no sports (if I do an extra sport I won't t do the other ones I've planned). I am considering a course "mime for beginners" it is given by the university and 'proper students' have first right of entry, so if it is popular I might not get in.
Sports: Formore than a year practically every Saturday morning (9:15-10:00) Monique and I went aquajogging. When first she and then I got a boyfriend this timing didn't seem so attractive any more. But the same class is given on Tuesday evening (18:30-19:15) and that is quite manageable. So I've decided to plan that in as a regular appointment. Also, I want to attend at least 1 circuit training at my gym a week (every weekday 10:00-10:45) That should be manageable. Extra stuff is allowed.
I will ignore the usual plans of taking better care of my house. Living more or less in two houses as I do now doesn't make it easier.
