The coming week
Plans: Cheap Jongleur Tickets, London
I'm rather curious on what everyone has planned this week coming, I have the week off because it's consultation week within the Philosophy Department, so they tell us all to go away for the week and do some reading or something (which would admittedly be a very good idea, and I do plan to do lots of it, but still...)
Anyone out this coming week? Any exciting things to do?
There is a PhilSoc trip to Jongleurs that I'm trying to shift tickets for, we've been selling them for £4 a ticket for non-members and we've shifted a few, and we've got fourty overall to sell, not sure how many are left. If any Hampshire people want to come along that's groovy, it's on Thursday the Seventeenth. Not sure how many more Philosophy peeps we're going to be able to sell to, but I'm confident we'll get rid of them eventually, I'm thinking about selling them to the GameSoc crowd to shift the last of them.
Also, it seems that people are pushing for me to go down Slimelight this weekend, is exactly what I said to thepussykat last week, if I allow myself the excuse I'll be going down every week. elegy_of_flame along with Kim is talking about going down, in which case it would be nice of me to go along so as to ensure they get in easily, though I'm sure they'd manage it anyway, meanwhile Morrana is celebrating her birthday down there and has invited me up, and I have a feeling a large number of people I know will be there, plus, more to the point, it's a three floor night...
Very tempting, but I've been saying to people a lot about how good I'm going to be in giving up London... I don't really need London you see, I can give up anytime I want, so far I've gone without London for coming up to three weeks, which is pretty good I think :oD
