A secret treasure trove...
Today I found another one of my secret treasure troves for bookworms. Driving in L---- after work, I saw a sign for a used book sale at the library. I'd seen it before, but today it was just calling to me and I thought I'd give it a chance. When I got inside the library, I could not see any signs of a book sale and thought that I was misled by the sign. After asking a woman at the information desk, however, I found that the books were actually downstairs in the basement. When I got there, I discovered not just a few shelves of books, but rows and rows of used books. They have a little book store set up there and are open every few days and sell these books to public so that they can raise money for some of the library iniatives. Well, I ended up spending nearly two hours there :-p It's always so relaxing to me, searching for new books, smelling the books, just being surrounded by them. I always feel like things are just right with the world when I can just browse through shelves of books, looking for my next good read. Easily, the highlight of my day... :)
