Smackdown Shadooby and Princess Gadget Kitty Go-Go have left my home, and are now living in the swank and posh residence of my parents. They went there after the hurricane, and just never came home. I was sad, but my mom had recently lost both of her cats (each was over 17 years old), and she loved having mine around, that I just left them there with her.
It took a few months (ok 6), but I finally got the itchy fingers to have fuzzy critters in the house hold again. So, a friend of mine helped me locate and adopt two small kittens, one boy, one girl, and from the same litter. I've always felt that if you have one kitten, you need a second to keep the first entertained. Yeah, I know...I'm a dork.
So, the girl is named 'Nacho Kitty' (as in, she's not you're kitty, she's mine) and the boy is officially known as 'El Taco Kitty Grande', but due to the truly foul kitty gas he has, I call him either 'El Taco Kitty Grande con Carne' or 'Jesus Christ, what have I been feeding you!?' He only answers to 'Pete' though. I blame my friend's daughter, who raised the kittens before I got them, for that.
They're wonderful fuzzy bastards to have around. Always finding some new way to cause trouble (this morning they learned how to climb the curtains), or destroy things (that $100 pair of leather shoes didn't stand a chance). I'm glad I have them, though. I didn't realize just how empty my place gets, and watching them play and chase each other amuses me greatly. I'll be glad when they simmer down a tad, but it's cool, it's what kitties do.
I'll post photos, soon as I get them over to my photobucket page.
And yeah, I guess this means I'm back.
