...My new monitor here at work is so incredibly huge, I am LOST in its depths. It's a good 2 ft. wide. It's a super widescreen Dell, like a 30" or something ridiculous. I had like a 14" before. Whoah. Now I can have like 20 tabs open in Firefox and see them all w/o scrolling.

WTF is up with your need to bug me about updating iTunes every single time I open it? It's not like I'm using some ancient version, as I'm sure I upgraded a couple times already this year. And when I do decide to update, why does iTunes have to come bundled with QuickTime in an enormous file? Which takes a long time to download even in broadband ( Read more... )

I'm getting a new computer here at work in a few days and IT made me list out all the applications I need installed, including not just the standard paid software but smaller apps and free software. They've offered to install the free ones for me but I don't think they realize how many of them I have. I think I will just install them all myself in ( Read more... )

Dreamed I couldn't find my glasses -- so I did Cntl+F and searched my apartment's source code for "GLASSES".

Um, yeah.

I've posted before about how my laptop's keyboard is wearing out. It isn't just that the letters are missing off half a dozen keys, which I expect, but that the keys are actually eroding: they're concave like ancient stone steps! Is it just me, or do all software updates show up at the same time? Yesterday I got home and was prompted to update my McAfee suite, Firefox and the entire WinXP OS (massive security upgrade).
