1) Xbox - wireless game adaptors are getting cheap. i got one for 50 bucks, dismantled it and soldered it into the xbox. so now, i have a neat-looking antenna sticking out from the back instead of the pain-in-the-ass-can't-put-the-xbox-far-away-from-the-router wires running around.

2) microchip Programmer - a DIY programmer is a good way save money especially if you are not sure how it works. heh. this thing costs me like $6/- and it works! thanks to those guys who share everything on the internet.

3) Servo-Microcontroller + webcam + VPN or LogMeIn = a webcam mounted on 2 old r/c cars servo motors so taht i can monitor my house from any computer with an internet connection. :)
now i never have to wonder what my dog does at home when he is alone. thanks again to those who share their work on the internet!

i really want to get myself a workbench. space constraints. sigh.

anyways, for the next project, i will mount a few infra-red LEDs on the camera so that it can see at night. you can't see infra-red with the human-eye but if you were to use a camera (eg. your phone-camera and aim it at any of your remote controllers and press a button, you'll know wat i mean.

meanwhile, i will sit-back, relax and procrastinate.
