your stream of consciousness is incredible! So many things to comment on, not sure if I'd do it justice, so I'll pick the ones that stood out the most to me.
You need more Dos and conversations with me about story ideas! I've been all over the map as well but those always seemed to excite and focus me on one idea. Even though I rarely wrote stuff down...but Taka/Karupin! Oh man! I still have the stickie Canon made me from 4 years ago of them on my bulletin board.
For the cooking, Can you make for multiples and just have leftovers at school maybe? It is definitely much easier to make for multiples! like I can't make mashed potatoes for less than 4 people...which leaves Eric and I with mashed potatoes to eat the next day, not too bad! Just a thought.
I totally understand the disclaimers on tv shows, books, things I like when recommending to friends! I eat with my co-workers almost every day and I've talked about stargate before, but apparently one of my new co-workers (an IT guy who came in in June when all the stuff was going down with Eric) heard this again, and he had just happened to catch the first episode of Stargate Atlantis. I'm all "Hey I own all the seasons on DVD you could borrow them" and he's like "Sure!" and then the gut clenching. Like stargate owns my soul, what if he didn't like it? Turns out he did even with all my qualifying, but I went out of my way to make it no big deal if he liked/or disliked it, woah.
*hugs for your mom* I only talked with her a few times, but she was very proud of everything you did. She just wanted you to be happy. That was my vibe. *snugglehugs*

All is boring on my home front. No new news, just work and home, repeat. etc *SMOOCH!*
I KNOW RIGHT? Like...i just recomended that one of my best friends here read the Black Jewel Trilogy. AND I LOVE THOSE BOOKS. But they are a lot of dark ideas in it and the society is kinda twisted, and so like fell over myself trying to validate things RIGHT AFTER I HANDED HER THE BOOK. and made sure to say about 3 different times, "if it offends you, stop reading it," as though she wouldn't have figured that out on her own :P She hasn't even opened the cover and I've already probably turned her off to it. I HOPE, like you're IT guy, that she likes it inspite of me. D:
MASHED TATERS! Hey, if you've got any favorite recipies on your comp or lying around, would you mind sending them to me? I think I'll take your advice and start cooking a little and saving leftovers. But I've left all my recepies at home D:D:D:
WE DEFINATELY NEED TO HIT UP DOS TOGETHER ASAP. Oh man. The food. The ideas. The glory. I swear, there's something about that atmosphere and sitting in there talking to you that just makes all my creative juices go SQUELCH! (ok, i need better sound effect words...) But you know what I mean XD I have so many ideas, but none of them want to form into anything substantial, and that's really frustrating. I can't hold onto ideas any more. I just read something about lack of sleep, and I think that may be part of what's going wrong. I'm only getting about 4-5 hours a night right now, and that's definately a lot less than I need.
