HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! :D
2007 went by so fast. I can't believe how quickly years go now that I'm an old fogie D: It's scary (o.o)
On New Year's eve I made mochi and had three dinners with three different groups of friends, then the last dinner crew came to my place for the final countdown. Good times! Tomorrow I'll hike up over 1000 steps to pray at a shrine in my neighboring prefecture with my Japanese teacher and her family. Should be fun, especially since the munchkins (her grandsons) will be along for the climb! OH! And did I mention IT SNOWED? We got just enough snow to stick to the ground a bit and I made 2 tiny snowmen again with the stuff stuck to my car :D EXCITING!
