First Update of the New Year!...
...and it's almost February...wow. so...what's been going on in my life? New Years was fun. I got to hang out with some old friends that I haven't seen in a while. Got trashed...the usual. I didn't really make any new years resolutions...i never keep them anyways :o). Though I was going to start working out, because i really do want to be in shape to go backpacking this summer...so I've worked out twice this month...three times if you include bouncing around like an idiot to Flogging Molly for about a half an hour while incredibly drunk friday night.
I'm taking Papermaking, Weaving (on the loom), and Advanced Costume Design...yeah..it's been a fairly easy quarter. Which is good, because I haven't had any energy this winter. Maybe it's just because it's winter and I'm in my hibernation mode. It's wierd though, because I haven't gotten sick all year (of course now i'm jinxing myself) but just tired. I want to sleep all the time...or play on myspace. which, by the way, is incredibly adicting! I don't even do it for the trendyness or the popularity that it seems to be all about. It's just a cool way to keep up with friends i don't see at all anymore. Wierd that I haven't felt like updating on this at all. Probably because there really hasn't been too much that is interesting in my life lately. I mean technically there was a year and a half anniversary for me and chris sometime this month...but we never really settled on a DAY for us...so we don't really celebrate anniversaries. He did come by with a single rose randomly though, which was sweet. But it wasn't like a happy anniversary thing. It was just a here have a random rose thing, which is still cool. I like random surprises like that :o).
I'm still working at On Rice...there are good days and bad days...tonight could have been better! I was the only food server (there are usually two of us) in the kitchen and everyone and their brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins, grumpy grandparents etc decided that they wanted Thai food tonight! Plus our kitchen is really, really small with not alot of counter space. so the cooks are cooking food as fast as they can and there is nowhere to put all of this food and my legs are carrying food out to tables as fast as they can without tripping over my dumb shoes that like to fall off and trying not to spill the curry or soup and all the while the counters are filling and pilling up with food! Plus there is this one waitress that is ALWAYS a huge bitch to me. It seems like she's always looking over her shoulder to see if i fuck up so she can be right on my ass telling me how i should have done it...not giving me advice and being helpful, but TELLING me how i should do it, and always very rude. uggg! ok, done with my little work rant.
That's really about it...my b-day is coming up in February..yay 23. I'm going to ACTF this year, a theater conference. Should be fun. Mostly a week of partying, but i'm entering some of my costume designs that i did last quarter in the design contest.
