One of those motherfucking life lessons
Today was a Learning Experience. Like doing tequila shots on an empty stomach -- one of those learning experiences. I overslept and forgot my bag with the notes and the schedule and all my useful stuff. My reward was a really shitty day with a balky, cranky Ferris who was, I learned at the end of the day, recovering from the stomach flu.
However, we had a good moment. I had to stop by my house to get a warmer jacket, so I told Ferris to come in and see my house and meet Finn. He came in, and he and Finn hit it off beautifully. When he wanted to hold Finn, I was worried because Finn is still a moody adolescent. However, Finn cuddled up meekly on his chest and offered two kitty-kisses to each cheek. I got my first smile from Ferris .
Ferris: Love him!
About 20 minutes after we left, Ferris said, awwwww. I asked him if he was thinking about Finn. Love him, Ferris agreed.
Definitely a learning experience all around, and Finn gets extra tuna tonight.
