So, I was looking at some cat marcos a minute ago, and one of them was just a kitten sitting on a laptop. Just so gratuitously 'gee I'm on the internet... and look! a kitten...' and it made me wonder about what motivates people to take pictures of their cats.
And THAT made me wonder about why people get cats. And then I wondered if there's been any demographic created which gets pets JUST to be able to take cool pictures of them. Especially lately with the popularity of cat macros, HOLY JESUS.
I mean it's just creepy. "Gee, I'd really like more internet fame. Hmmmmm I HAVE A CAMERA-- I SHOULD GET A CAT!"
Which is why I take pictures of stray cats, teehee!
