I hate it when I am wrong! But my approach to the dagging requires SOOOOO much yardage it is ridiculous (So ridiculous I won't even tell you what I did) I am embarrassed, but OMG am I glad I checked my calculations twice, made "pleats" up in paper and in cloth....
So I have to go back to how Hunnisett did it which means applying the dags as she suggests. Which means I also don't understand how the sleeve goes together. I get the seam on the underarm and the "dart" at the top (just a raglan sleeve with the excess cut out). What I don't get is once all the decoration is on how it all gets "sewn" up.
I already tried a small scale sleeve, it wasn't big enough - have to make a larger one....
My only question is how she came up with 2 pleats/daggs across the front of the sleeve. I count 3.
