Yesterday was good: I made a bass player cry, I broke a table, people wish to hire me as a coreograph, and as a director, and proved that I'm better in what I do than an educated person hired to do it.
1. I made a bass player cry
Well, Marjo has said it before, but every time she works with me, she ends up crying at some point. While listening to me singing or watching me acting. Well, this time she ended up crying while watching others do a dance sequence in the middle of a love song that I had directed for them. Well, if a bass player cries, then the scene works!
2. I broke a table
Marjo calls me 'pornojyri' at times. (I wonder why... xD) And this porny side of my wicked self made a s/m-rubberfetish-seducing-dance for a scene and a girl pushes a guy on the table in the middle of her song. Well... the table crashed down, 'cause those two were a bit too enthusiastic with their acting at that time. xD So... my dance sequences don't only make people cry, they also break stuff. xD
3. People wish to hire me as a coreograph
If there was no byrocratic and financial issues, I'd get a job at once. \o/
4. People want me as a director
As I see it, the feedback meant that they were happy with what I was doing, and they think I have potential to be directing in the future, if needed. (Hell, I had to start directing, since no one else was doing it!) Well, I don't feel like I could direct anything, at least yet, but I'm happy if they feel like I have an eye for that too.
5. I proved that I'm better in what I do than an educated person hired to do it
- I know how to teach hip hop, she doesn't. (Hell, I don't think she can even teach jazz-ballet. She only does modern. And Pilates. Which isn't dancing, so she shouldn't be teaching that AT ALL in our school!)
- Directed HALF of the songs in 2 days so that the people who are on stage can start feeling comfortable in what they are doing. No one had done anything to the songs before! x_x
- Out of the 14 songs in the show, my name as a coreographer will be in 5 of them
- Now there is only 2 work days left before the premiere, because NO ONE ELSE HAD TAKEN RESPONSIBILITY until I came along last Wednesday.
