(no subject)
Ah. Today, she has been a good day.
My first lecture/discussion thingie went well. It was the only class I'm subbing for today and it went surprisingly well. I didn't vomit when I got up to speak in front of the class, so it was a huge moral victory for me. In fact, this may have been the least nervous I have ever been speaking in front of a large (-ish) group. w00t for me. \o/
And the Gravitation manga that I have been waiting for forever finally came in. I'm thinking there is something wrong with my post office. :/ But they are here and I know that I should be preparing my lecture/discussion for tomorrow or doing homework for my linguistics course or something other than reading manga. But, you know? I know I'm going to end up curled in my favorite chair reading anyway, so why fight it?
Other various small good things have happened today, but they pale in comparison. My only complaint so far is that the Death Note fic is not coming out as perverse as I was hoping. I don't write "perverse" very often, so it shall be good practice.
