so full of these feelings

Sometimes I get complacent acting like a good person; that I start to believe it, and then some poor soul gets happy with the stupid, and suddenly the bitch is back.

EDIT: here I complained at length about stupid people, and how they're everywhere, and how they really make me *headdesk* repeatedly.

O_O

I deleted the rest of my rant 'cause it went on into more bitterness and stupid. The need to vent and be horrible went away. *yay me*

Response to ch.297 has been varied, which is very cool, 'cause things have been uber-boring for sometime. Basically it was like last week everyone was all "Bleach is so boring..." and this week its all discussions and passionate opinions of fan-service, not fan-service, too much, etcetera. Fun times.

Though I'm honestly confused as to why people didn't expect SS to show up. It's a surprise, but not that inexplicable. I mean Rukia and Renji are members of the Gotei 13, Renji is a high-seated officer. Ichigo is also a shinigami representative that they've included in their forces.

Not going after Inoue is understandable from a tactical pov, but not going after 3 of ur own (who are all valuable) and two humans who helped SS during a crisis? C'mon.

What did people think would happen? The team gets K.O. almost totally and people still expect them to pull a victory?
I was 50% on the Vizard sitch, 'cause they've expressed some ill feeling toward shinigami and only have ties to Ichigo. My main reason against it was that we hadn't learned enough about them. Most of the others hadn't even met them.

Against the Karakura Daddies it was safe to say that after seeing their expressions when the kids left, I didn't expect them to go running off after their boys. Also they both seem to be hiding intel, and to be connected to Urahara.

Urahara, was my highest bet after SS, but he's an exile and can't travel between dimensions.

The complaining about Kenpachi is so weird too, during the Grimmy fight, everyone was all Grimm should get a match up with Ken-chan, HM characters have all spoken like people who share Kenpachi particular life-view. The "get stronger or die trying" school.

But I think it's mostly a surprise 'cause people have been treating Bleach not as a complete story, but as separate arcs. It's easy to brush off the Hitsu team coming to the Real World 'cause people kept saying the SS arc is over and that's just fan-service, but Aizen is gearing for war, and he has an ARMY, who is supposed to fight them if not SS?

I don't really see Bleach as the typical shounen, I think it's a hybrid. It has a big female readership, and it's not because of the bishies, 'cause Bleach is light on the bishounen (I'm a pretty-boy fiend, trust me). Soul Society is a big part of the Kubo-world, it is where the female lead comes from after all.

And the more I think of what the actual Bleach story is all about, the more I think that Kubo is writing more an epic love-story amidst the background of the usual end-of-the-world shounen theme, and not just a story about a boy + friends with super powers defeat big baddie.

I'd actually be willing to put money on this, 'cause I'm a shounen girl, I love it, more even than my secret stash of mahou-shoujo.  Bleach doesn't  follow the shounen formula, it's pretends to then makes 90 degree turns into the land of the shoujo elements. Chapters given to the emotional development of characters are not typical shounen fare, Ichigo isn't a 2-dimesional idiot who's only goal is fighting. He has depth and purpose. Not only do I like shounen, but I'm a fan of romance. I trust my own abilities to recognize what I'm reading.

bleach, rant, stuff
