Messy-bah
My little cousin Insia had her birthday party today. Though, her birthday was last Thursday, on the 9th.. but we didn't celebrate it then because it was 'Ashura.
Anyways, it was just a nice li'l party.. some of Insi's classmates, some family, some family friends, some mommies. And Abeer's friends Amna and Maisam. I was pretty hungry throughout the whole thing and at one point it got so bad that my brain slipped into Math mode [obviously, since I'd been trying to solve trigonometric equations / prove trigonometric identities for 3½ hours in the morning] and out of nowhere it was raining sin θ, cos θ and tan θ in my head. Yes.. it gets much worse at times.
The rest of the party was fun. Tasneem [who now has an LJ account!] and I were just catching up on each other's lives. And making silly comments about Maisam and Amna.
After the party, Abeer and I just sat outside the party hall [which was near a KFC outlet] and spied on this semi-cute guy. Abeer said he looked like a serial killer and after I'd gotten a better look at him, I agreed with her. Brrr..
In other news, I downloaded a PDF version of Salman Rushdie's The Satanic Verses. Can't wait to read it. It's over 280 pages long.
