Today, the SFS Summer Camp kids and volunteers went to Lamcy Plaza in Bur Dubai. Those of you who live in and around Dubai will know that Lamcy Plaza is a last resort. But anyways, this was for the children.
We were in the play area and after all the singing/dancing/embarrassment got over, Wynette sat me down on a stool and grabbed a crayon, dampened its end with water and began to paint on my left arm.
That's a dragon, by the way. Its backside (!) has a halo in the shape of a 'D'.
Then another friend of mine [and a great partner in pool], Tejas sat me down on a different stool and painted this on my right arm:
He promised me it would be something nice and even though everybody else warned me that he was just drawing bullshit on my arm, I didn't protest. I couldn't, I was on the phone!
Then Wynette saw that Tejas' rendition of the map of Africa was much better than her dragon, so she whipped out two crayons of different shades of green and drew a bow and arrow on my left arm.
One of the girls even streaked my face with green crayons - and I had the balls to go into a mall looking shabby like that - but I washed it away, so no pictures of that!
