Breakfast was rudely interrupted by one of the waitresses who gave that verdict that since we weren't a registered group, we couldn't sit in the big room and eat and we'd have to move to a smaller room. But that's ok, we can always adjust.
Anyways, after that, we all took the 08:55 bus to the Interlaken Ost [that's German for East] station and there we bought tickets for the train that would take us to the Junfraujoch [Yunn-fra-oh-yok] which has been dubbed the Top of Europe. I don't really understand how Junfraujoch can be it because we went to the highest point in Europe in Zermatt! Or maybe the Swiss are fooling people into traveling to both places to see ice, rocks and snow?
The trip to the Junfraujoch [which is a point little less higher than the peak of Jungfrau] was a little over two hours long, with two changes of trains. When we got there, after traveling through an endless tunnel, we all rushed to the W.C. That was the coldest toilet I've ever been to. Then we headed towards the café to get some hot chocolate [schokolade] or coffee [kaffee].
We visited the Ice Palace, the Sphinx - the highest view-point in Europe and then to the Indian restaurant called 'Bollywood' to have lunch. There wasn't much to see up there except ice and snow, which we've already seen before. Plus there was a horrid fog all around the mountain so we didn't get to look at anything else either.
We avoided catching the 14:45 train back home because my brother had overheard a tour guide telling his group of Indian tourists that everyone in his group must be in the 14:45 train. I told my brother that he ought to work for the Mossad.
I fell asleep for a bit on the journey back home. Today's been tiring. I need some shut-eye.
In the park near our hotel, there was this life-sized tipi, near a really huge trash-can with recyclable stuff stuck to it. I wonder what the tipi was doing there because the Native American Indians only lived in the Americas and never really came to Europe. The Swiss are a bit odd.
The train stopped at one of the points between Interlake Ost and the Top of Europe, so my brother quickly saw the opportunity and clicked the picture.
The view from the train was increasingly beautiful.
Inside the train - my cousin Shehre Bano [Shay-ray for short] and I were sitting by the window.
One of the shorter tunnels through which the train traveled. Just look how naturally green it is, all around!
On the Top of Europe, there was this place called Ice Palace where there were ice sculptures, ice roofs, ice floors and more ice. This was clicked at the entrance of an ice cave.. I'm pretending that I'm too tall to fit into the cave.
Outside in the snow, I didn't have earmuffs or a skicap to keep my ears warm, so I was just covering them with my gloved hands. The open-mouth is just to make it look like I'm screaming [for warmth?].
That's the peak of Jungfrau, sitting a little distance away from Jungraujoch.
Switzerland may not be famous for its waterfalls, but there certainly are bunches of them all over the mountains.

That was our second day in Interlaken and fifth day in Switzerland.
