I'm ready!
The joy and excitement was so thick in the air that you could cut it with a plastic knife. We were all sitting there, breathing as silently as possible, glancing at our fellow inmates and smiling occasionally. That familiar tingle in the tummy, that feeling of cheer coursing through the body - for a lot of us, today was the last day of the academic year 2005-6.
Yes, babies, today I wrote my last A-level exam for this year - PHY 6 [Synoptic Paper]. We started this parade of A-level exams with Physics and we ended it with Physics, too. Five weeks! From May 16th to June 22nd. 37 days. 888 hours. 53280 minutes. Ok, so I've proved to everyone that I can use the calculator.. now I'm just going nuts.
You'd think that I'd be out celebrating or something.. but I'm here at home. Nothing to do, nobody to celebrate with. I might celebrate by watching an episode of Queer as Folk.
The exam was alright, not too tough, not too easy. The PHY 6 paper in the graduation exams was much easier. A few questions in this were confusing, but overall, I'd say I'd score about 60 out of 80. I could do worse!
In other news, Mahesh seems to want to do a lot of things these days.. things that aren't quite permitted or possible. He wants to throw the bowling ball into a lane which is not working so the ball never returns again. He wants to go to Singapore with me... when I told him that I don't have the money to go there, he said, "We'll go without money". He wants me to miss my flight on Sunday.
In yet other news, the municipality of Dhaid, a small town in the UAE has decided to take obscene stripper dolls off the shelves of a supermarket. Damn! It was a male stripper doll, too! It would strip automatically and say, "I'm ready!"
And yetter other news, Ammi got me this anti-acne kit from Biotherm. Jeez, its products are so odorous! The facewash's smell can be tolerated, and the toner doesn't really smell... but the moisturizer! My face smells like Panadol after I rub it on my face. Argh!
