Now that the teaching part of school has come to an end and we're just revising old stuff in class, I have all the free time in the world and I waste it lavishly.
Today, I decided to sit near Ooh-lala-I-want-you-on-me
Anish in the library during my free periods and talk to him [while the poor fellow was trying to study Math on his own, lol]. We were just discussing our future plans [like everybody does these days].
abhishek_kar, who was sitting between us, was telling Anish how I'm so good at arguing about things and how I should be a lawyer.
The two of them then proceeded to explain to me how I should consider studying law because I admit, I'm interested by the subject. It involves a lot of mugging up of books of law, but look what I get to do in the end - have a verbal battle! :D I could also study to become a judge.. my name means 'God is my judge' in Hebrew.
Though, medicine is still my first choice because it's a lot better, ethically. Yes, lawyers aren't very ethical ;) Being a doctor, I'd at least be helping people get their health back, rather than fucking their lives up, royally and professionally, which is what lawyers usually do. I have this growing desire to do something about the unhealthy people in places like equitorial Africa, India and the like.
I dunno, this discussion between us has left me a bit confused.
I need to fulfill my
Jewish Mother's dream and become a doctor. Now there's a reason!
