Winding Down
Well my vacation is almost over, at least the seattle portion of the vacation, I have a few days after I get back before the regular routine of work and such gets started.
All in all this little vacation did well to de-stressify my life, get things accomplished and though I have several projects waiting for me at home, there was no way I could get any of them done while here, so It was good break. I managed to finish my christmas stocking, get supplies to make drawers needed to complete my study back at the apartment. Caught up with all the stories that have gone on. Spent time with my parents, heard about family drama, exchanged gifts. Saw friends ad caught up with the stories there. We also went to the Bellevue botanical gardens and saw the lights. They were impressive and I got some photos. (The internet is horrible here so they won't be up until after I get back).
I was a little worried about the whole vacation. I feared running around a ton and not getting to relax, then coming home to the stuff I have to do and again not relaxing, then going back to work and continuing to not relax. But I did get my relaxing in and I got to see to friends. Now I can go back, do some cleaning and painting, and get everything squared away for the new year. I've even decided on a few resolutions, which I don't normally do. But that feels like a post for 2010. :)
Edit: My plane has been delayed an hour...so I got here early, had no securty, and now I get to sit as they keep pushing back my departure..fun fun
