"If you took a couple of David Bowies and stuck one David Bowie on top of the other David Bowie, then attached another David Bowie to the ends of of the arms of the upper of the first two David Bowies and wrapped the whole business up in a dirty beach robe you would then have something which didn't look like John Watson, but which those who knew him would find hauntingly familiar.
He was tall. And he gangled."
That, my friends, is an excerpt from Douglas Adams' So Long, and Thanks For All the Fish, the fourth book in The Hitchiker's Trilogy *yes, you read that correctly.*
I love that series. I love that passage.
I love David Bowie. :-) I need more David Bowie cds. Fortunately, Mark seems to have a plethora of David bowie cds, which helps me on my way, as I only have...two. Villy is poor. However, i still need more!!!!
More David Bowie! More Ozzy! More Queen! And more Tea Party!!!!!!
I am highly upset that The Seven Circles has yet to come out. i've been waiting for this cd for almost a year. Damn them for getting so perfectionist-y. *ooh! I made up a word! *dances* *
Yeah..today's just as worthless as yesterday. I have nothing to say.
oooh! Happy Mommy's Day to my MAMA!!!!!! *huggles mama* Damn, she's just too cute.
I had no money to get her a card or a present, so I'll send her an e-card. And give her a call.
*shrugs* I suppose that means I should call Helen too. Bitch.
Actually, she's getting better. As long as we don't talk about my religion, my wedding, my lifestyle, or....well, me.... we're fine. In fact, we get along FANTASTICALLY when we aren't talking!
I swear, if it weren't for Hiram, Aunt margaraet, my little brothers, and all the animals......she'd never hear from me again.
since she won't let me have Ginger, I am determined to steal Pouncequick. There is no way she can try and wiggle out of that. She can't possibly find any way of saying the pounceq1uick isn't mine, because I have WITNESSES. My friend Dana was spending a week with me after church camp, and when we arrived, Helen presented me the cutest little kitten *which we had nursed to health and given back to the store a couple of weeks previously, which made me cry* and said, "Since you loved her so much, I bought her for you."
Hmph. That's MY kitty. And I want her. She's soft and silky. And she has the cutest little white stripe on her nose!
*huggles Pouncequick.*
Anyway..I'm off. Ta-ta!
