I need book recs. I'm out of the loop, because I haven't gone book hunting properly in years, and mostly just pick up whatever looks interesting now and again. I want something long and juicy, in the vein of Gone With the Wind. Stuff like Penny Vincenzi or Philippa Gregory's books. Nice big family epics, historical romances would be nice.
I love the feeling of looking forward to a returning to reading a book that I don't have to slog through and force myself to finish, and also, I want lots of good books to lure me from the internet and get me back in reading mode, in preparation for all the 5,343 books I'll have to read for college this semester.
