Easter chocolate and kitty litter

May 06, 2013 18:13

31 March: Today is Easter Sunday. I go outside and inhale my chocolate egg, a gift from my parents. There was a time when I’d receive six or seven such eggs at Easter, but these days one is perfect. I love Cadbury’s chocolate and probably always will.

I did some programming in morning; I am now working on visuals and a few random loose ends. We take the bike into Yuma and shop for food, kitty litter and the like; it’s time. Gracie has taken to editorializing in the form of leaving round, brown comments in annoying places. She’s always been our most communicative cat.

We shop at Fry’s, as it’s the only supermarket we can find without having planned in advance. At Rally’s drive-through, a new-to-us fast food joint, I can’t figure out where to order as a foot customer. So, we go through the drive-through, twice. Once we figure out which is the correct direction, it turns out their fish sandwiches are rather tasty.
