Happy birthday to my fellow Leo, jem_endured_fit! I hope it's a great one! Oh, and it's also Heather's little cousin Emily's birthday today. While we were in Michigan, she gave me this note:

Last night I ate at the local Bonefish Grill with Heather, Chris, and Brian. Aside from a couple issues with the order (the waitress wrote down the wrong dish for me and they had to make me a new one), it was a good meal! I always end up not getting the seafood there, for whatever reason. Last night I got this pork tenderloin portabella piccata... Really good! I also opened presents. Chris and Brian got me the newest Guitar Hero game (the same one that Best Buy screwed me out of last month. Heather got me a wine bottle hanging tart warmer from Yankee Candle and... (Drumroll) ...The Complete Calvin and Hobbes!
AWESOME! I've wanted that set for SO long! It's such a treat to finally own it. What a great girlfriend! :-)
Today has been mostly slow at work, but I don't mind in the slightest. A few people have wished me happy birthday, which has been nice. Last year only one lady did, and she didn't even work in our bureau anymore! This place is just not that into the whole birthday thing, I guess. Oh well! I also did my good deed for the day and donated sick leave to a fellow coworker... But it might have been canceled out when I didn't give a homeless person who approached me outside of Publix any money. :-/ Hmmm...
Anyway, I'm about to leave and go get my new license plate tags, and then it's home to pack the rest of my stuff (and Phoebe's). Heather will be by around 4:15 or so and we'll get on the road. Ah, the Tallahassee-Satellite Beach drive...! :-/ But it'll be worth it.
