Last night was AMAZING! I escorted Lee to his cousin's wedding, and it was such a great time! Let me start by saying how damn FINE my man is! lol.. He looked sooo awesome in his kakkhi cargo's and tight black polo. Oh my goodnes... too cute for words! I dressed a little more formal, in my black dress...and i still felt under-dressed, thats how fancy this wedding was! It was held in some Rio-something Theathere in Joliet, very very pricy! The dinner plates were $85/person! can you imagine?!? I think that is insaine! (My wedding will be a McDonalds Buffet!)... The ceremony was only 20 min long, but the reception went on for hours. It was a blast!
Lee was such a gentleman all evening. During the ceremony he kept his arm around me to warm me up...it was freezing in there! He kept running his fingers through the back of my hair, it was oh-so sweet.
He introduced me to his family as his 'beautiful girlfriend"... i wanted to melt right there! He even asked me to dance to a slow song...which takes a lot for him bc he hates to dance.
The only sucky thing that happened that night was when Christy decided to tell Lee the test result's that came back today for his dad. Previously, when Allison and I were at the bar with her, we told her not to say anything to Lee or Tom until after the wedding. They needed to get their mind of things and enjoy their evening. I guess that went right over her head, bc she sat him down and told him that his dad pretty much has cancer everywhere. ... What a great place to tell him! I was sooooo pissed! Lee started crying on my shoulder and then she went out for a smoke! I wanted to kick her ass right there. After a while, I was able to distract him and get him to dance, and he started smiling again. He sat back at the table on the fast songs and watched me and Ally dance. We moved to where he couldnt see us but one time i noticed him standing in the corner just smiling at me...it totally embarrased me! It was cute the way he was looking at me though.
