Been going absolutely crazy for the past two weeks what with studying for various midterms. One left to go...
Halloween was sort of a downer. Seven Trick-or-treaters, most of them not even wearing costumes. Also, was too late to find a pumpkin to carve. *sulks*
As of this evening I took a breather and began working on a drawing inspired by Carl Orff's Carmina Burana. I saved it at various stages while I worked on it, so you can sort of see it developing...
Starting wih a rough sketch...
Now it's a little less scribbly...(The text around the wheel is "I will reign", "I reign", "I have reigned", "I am without a kingdom", and the text in the bottom left reads "Fortuna, Empress of the World")
Continuing to polish...now it's looking more Mucha-y, yes?
And the finished product will be along shortly, I have little doubt.
