Hooray for accomplishments

Following a stressing month, I decided to declutter the house a bit. The result is I'm now able to see 30% more of my wood veneer finish on my desk. Furthermore, my file cabinet is now empty and ready to be given to it's new owner. The contents of a folding bookshelf have been relocated to the various other bookshelves and clears out a space for the cats' bed.

As of today, I'm now officially a member of the Church I've attended since July. As pointed out by one of my Pastors, I'm now officially Protestant... something I never thought I'd be. As a Catholic youth, Protestants seemed decadent. In the present day, being Protestant feels more in line with my Christian beliefs than Catholicism ever did.

When we moved into this house, we performed some demolition work in a futile attempt to get our box spring up the stairs. The repairs to the ceiling were completed today, and it is difficult to see where we demo'ed the stairway. Tonight we also installed a new towel rod in the main bathroom and replaced the light fixture in my closet. The new light allows directional lighting that is less blinding at night and gives off a warm glow when dimmed. Chris' closet is airing out following the final coat of paint the was applied.
