VWVortex has an article on the upcoming Audi A3 Cabriolet. I've always wondered how a next generation VW Cabrio (hatchback convertible) would have appeared. The 2008 answer is an all caps SEXY. As the VW Bettle comes with a flower, the misnamed VW Eros should include a 5-year supply of viagra. From the Acura-Audi spawned telltale headlamps to the BMW X3 taillights, the A3 Cabriolet shames the Mini in curvaceousness. The optional heated rear seats and four way lumbar support sound like heaven on my back -- which reminds me to look into those for the Jeep in 2008.
It seems some VW owners are leaving the VW Passat for the same vehicle SAAB 9-3 owners already headed for -- (their words) the vaultlike reliable Saturn Aura. Vaultlike, a word never previously used on a 20th century Saturn. While I've not ridden in an Aura on the road, I would certainly agree that the new '08 Saturn VUE is every bit a luxurious vehicle. So much so that if money wasn't a consideration, there would be a 25/32mpg 2008 Saturn VUE Green Line in front of the house. That said, if money wasn't a consideration, I'd be typing this from a satellite ISP'ed laptop on a boat in the Caribbean en route to my next dive.
