Party!
Well this week was an intresting one, it started Wednesday night with tacos. I think I've got some reaction to an ingredient in the new taco mix I got, most likely MSG. In looking up the affects of MSG, on of them is severe depression, which I'm attributing to my break down on Thursday - Friday - and a little of Saturday morning.
I managed to get alot of dishes done and the house relatively clean. Then I was having a few (two) people over for board games. I thought lets make it an early evening so it doesn't go till 1 am or later. This is a poor plan! Turns out starting it earlier just makes the whole evening longer, which isn't that bad but not the intended effect. I crawled into bed at quarter to 3 and our house guests had just started a movie. I do not know what time they all went to bed.
It made me so happy! I always wanted to be the hangout house(/place), where anyone would feel welcome to stop by anytime. It was so nice! I got up this morning and attempted to make pancakes and eggs for everyone, but it turned into a huge burned mess, that luckly john saved.
The irony is that now I have a new stack of dirty dishes (though jim was working on them while i cooked) mostly from the failed attempts at breakfast, but I don't care, maybe if they are still in the sink in May I'll have another breakdown, but its worth it.
I guess I really need to get cracking on a games site, to keep a diary of our game nights along with high scores.
