Thank God for the Weekend!

Yes, tis true! The Weekend is the most wonderful invention in the world. Thank those 2nd Industrial Revolutionists. They rock my socks!

So what happened?

Friday night was a little dull. I went in to work abnd about 5:50, the power goes completely out. So everyone goes outside - I ate the free-for-all cheesecake from the fridge - and watched the sunrise and the chainsmokers smoked. About 6:30, 6:40 the power went back on. We had to rush to get the samples weighed and stuff for it to be ready to be run through at 8 or whatever time they need. Kat and I got out at 1:30 - which was excellent. I helped around the house and cashed my paycheck. I then went to a poker game and put together a puzzle. After some disscusion, the idea of putting together the puzzle while drunk seemed very entertaining. But I went home very early, like 10:30 or so and just collapsed. I don't mind my job, but that night was dedicated to some sleep.

Saturday was insane. I had my graduation party from 3 - 8. I'm still not sure entirely what happened. All I know was that it was very hot, there were water balloons, and lots of pulled pork. The gifts rocked - I got an ipod finally! That night I went to one of my friend's graduation parties, an all out dance-a-thon. It was swell. At the very end, a guy ran through a glass door. It completely shattered, he had glass all over himself and had to go to the hospital. I thought the EMS guys handled it pretty well though. Everyone took pictures of it though - of course. After that the party died. I can think of a more climatic way to end the night.

Today is mellow day. I am figuring out all my new presents and the mess that is left for me to clean up. I am also thinking about having some sort of bonfire later in the summer. My family runs a farm on a road that had no traffic what so ever, so maybe we'll just have a big bonfire there on the middle of the road. It would be pretty memorable.
