I watched Apocalypse Now last night, it was pretty sweet. I love that it had the same feel as Kubrick's films. I hope I get to go to NYC to work this summer. It seems like everyone wants to go. I like the idea of not living in the same place for more than a semester. I think I'm going to give Haley a really ugly Barbie with several changes of clothes (duh!) to take to England with her. It'll be so HAWT.
In other news, my Art History professor is a total jerk, if you know what I mean. He is probably the most arrogant person I've ever been around. And he really has no reason to be arrogant, really. His wife separated him and he moved here from good ol' Texas.
I love being an architecture student. I love that telling other students that I'm in architecture means they automatically assume I'm a huge freako and that they will think that I probably won't be able to carry on a normal conversation with them...I usually see to it that conversations with strangers are awkward for that very reason. In my American School Faust class, we are studying all kinds of random things like American design and Alfonso Iannelli's poster designs. Pretty cool stuff, if you ask me. Also, being in architecture (and probably college in general) means I can talk to my instructors as if they're my peers. We can cuss at them, we can say "Frankly, this sucks." It's great to have that freedom with your professors. I guess spending 12+ hours a week with them means they're used to the way we carry on conversations and whatnot. I like not having to sugar coat things and make sure they're "proper" before they come flying out of my big mouth.
I wish there were such thing as a miniature great dane. But, then, what would be the point?
