(no subject)
Good times at court this morning...bright and early this morning... Here's the play by play action reported to you by me who was there viewing it personally. And for those of you that didnt know, its just a speeding ticket, nothing related to alcohol...surprising, i know.
I got up early, dressed up, I can clean up well when i feel like it. Got to court and was the most dressed up person there. I just like to dress classy to courtroom adventures.
There were 4 other people in the courtroom. Two of these people can display how dumb people can be. Heres the first person. Shes sitting there and the officer that pulled her over comes into the room. He tells her that he only gave her a ticket for only going over 5mph and wonders why she is fighting it still. He then proceeds to tell her that he already gave her a break because she was actually going 25mph over. She still wanted to fight it. She goes up to the judge ready to explain herself and the cop just says dont listen to her, i already gave her a break. One down.
The second person that I would like to talk about went up to the judge ready to explain what happened. He said that he has not had a ticket in 12 years and deserves a reduction in fine. Fair enough. Again, the cop interrupts, saying that the only reason that he hasnt gotten a ticket in 12 years was because he was in prison for 12 years! HAHA, nice try.
So, by this time I was like oh crap, what is he going to say to me. Its my turn to explain. Basically what I said is "I deserve a reduction because I save lives for a living" (dramatization) The cop says nothing, the judge reduces my fine from $165 to $100 and no points on my record. No luck required, it was all from experience.
Also, ther was this guy walking around talking to himself. As im walking out to my car hes still talking to himself. All of a sudden he brings his hand up to his face like hes talking on the cell phone and screams into his hand. Woah mister. I fled the scene.
That was my morning.
