No matter what he did, the North American Ape-man just couldn't break into the amount of support that Nessie received. The Loch Ness Monster moves on to face future competitors in the second round, while the broken body of Sassifrass continues to elude science.

If Nessie really is a plesiosaur, that means his descendants survived the Cretaceous-Tertiary extinction event (roughly 65 million years ago). That's some hearty stock, there. While Bigfoot is undoubtedly badass, he's still not nearly as badass as a giant goddamned asteroid smashing into the earth. If Nessie can handle that, Bigfoot should be a cake walk.
