Mending Fences
Life is just full of surprises! The last few days have been a mish mash of happenings. It's been a roller coaster ride emotionally.
I'd only just gotten the news that one of my uncle's had passed away and then I get an email yesterday from my son whom I haven't really been allowed to speak to for about 10 months. He told me that he wanted to talk and gave me his cell phone number - just like that!
The last time I spoke with him he was very quiet - likely dealing with things in any way that he could, I mean how many people do you know who's parents divorced and then their mother leaves the country...kind of an unprecedented turn of events. So I fully understand if my children need some time and space to process this and heal and hopefully come back around.
So Dave, Leah, Rebecca - things not always being what they seem, please try to know how very much I love you all.
I will always love you no matter what. This door will be always open for you.
