Five months old
Dear Kaylin Girl,
This months letter comes to you a few days late for the same reason last months did.
Christmas is right around the corner and I can tell you are getting excited already. You got some presents in the mail and couldn’t keep your eyes off of the wrapping paper.
You went to your first Christmas party a few days ago and you were so interested in all the people that were there. You looked so pretty in your Christmas dress and you enjoyed all the attention and the compliments you got. We stood in line for what seemed like an eternity to get your picture taken with Santa. You wanted nothing to do with the camera, you were too busy looking at the women wearing the elf hats. I think it was because you were so tired. A few minutes after I put you into your stroller you conked out.
Daddy fed you some sweet potatoes not too long ago. They are making your diaper changes a joy.
You are getting a lot better at sitting up by yourself. After a few minutes you usually fall backwards or face plant, but I can tell that you will be sitting up by yourself very soon.
Right now I’m waiting for daddy to get home so I can pick up your pictures for the Christmas cards and send them out.
