Yeah, that was the first Wholock gif I ever saw, and if the scene from Doctor Who S7 trailer gif from last round hadn't been approved this would have been used in round 1.

I know. I just unexpectedly got, like, a week off work so I'm going to be doing a lot of writing.

I hope to see all sorts of entries for the song lyrics. I heard the song on my phone MP3 player today and immediately thought of two post-"Reichenbach" stories (one straight Sherlock and the other Wholock) and an idea for an Amy/Sherlock fic that will go perfect with the clip I saw from Saturday's DW about Amy and Rory.

Do the angels themselves count as characters or do I need to work in a human character/characters as well?

Also, I assume gen is okay?

The Angels count as a Doctor Who character; all you need to do is make sure you use at least one Sherlock character as well. And gen is perfectly fine. Can't wait to see what you come up with!

Does the fic need to be complete to enter? I just finally got some inspiration and it's turning out much longer than I expected. I'm not sure it'll be finished by the 31st.

I just wanted to let you know I issued an extension for the contest, so the new deadline is November 15th. I hope that's enough time, and if it isn't we can see about extending it past that. Hope that helps you out!
