Well, I made to Belton and back. Great job, me. It was my first time driving that far without someone helping me. I was actually less freaked out than when Joel was in the car with me, probably because I had MapQuest.
Whit's party was really fun. She showed me this scrapbook she made for religion class. It was supposed to be about her spiritual journey. She had pages for her family members...and me! It was the sweetest thing.
Her grandparents were really nice, too. And Mrs. Blake, my middle school gifted English/math teacher was there. She's retiring after this year.
My parents went to some casino to hear my uncle's band. I am home alone...and kind of bored. I'm working on a zine. I hope I can figure out a way to shrink down the pages, because I'd rather it wasn't 8 1/2" by 11".
My mom brings too much chocolate into the house. I'm going to gain the "freshman 15" before I even get to college.
