[Along down the street comes Rosella, making her way back toward the Library after a much-needed break, iced tea in hand and whistling a merry tune that is probably Greensleeves. At the sound of the explosion, she jumps back, looking around frantically for the source of the noise--and, in her hurried search, notices the faint shape of a person standing on the rooftop. She does a double-take, then stares, half wondering if it's merely a trick of the light, and half wondering however a person might've gotten up there in the first place.

She reaches up and shades her eyes with her free hand, peering at the rooftop in the hopes of getting a better look, and making it quite obvious that she's watching to anyone who happens to be paying attention.]

[Dispassionately watching the clouds of the explosion drift upward--concrete dust and smoke, and contemplating his next move: he does not move.]

Action | Well at least make yourself useful then. >|

[That...does appear to be a person up there! And now that the smoke is rising higher, Rosella can see it from her own lower vantage point. She glances back and forth between the man and the cloud, unsure which warrants more of her attention, and then it occurs to her--the cloud is coming from the direction that she's been heading.

Unable to suppress her curiosity any longer, she calls up to the person, hoping that she won't startle him with the sound of her voice as she does so. Perhaps he's watching the cloud as well. Perhaps he can see where it's coming from.]

Excuse me! Pardon me, hello, can you hear me?

[Tasting the wind, catching a scent--none of them the right ones. So, then, something else. Neither dream nor illusion. Something unexpected.

Did he really just think that?

He's considering moving towards the explosion, and it isn't but a step to the next rooftop--but,a voice!
