Uch, the things this place does to us, tempting us into nasty behaviors we thought we'd given up. Sending me buggering back to the bottle over nerves, when I try so hard not to be wretched. I think I will be more comfortable over time, but Mary, Mary, keep my lips away from heavy drink.
It was an excellent wine, though.
By the way, miss Asta, ladies, that trip to the springs seems to have done wonders for my fainting spells, and I think a little color has come back to my face. We'll have to visit again! It was so very fortifying.
Light, I apologize that I had been feeling under the weather, but I think that today or tomorrow would be an excellent time to take you up on your offer for a decent meal. They didn't feed me at the Vatican.
